Short Crossing 2 - Climbing Kiln Training

Ceramics students from Anadolu University have participated in the Noborigama (climbing kiln) or Anagama kiln workshop organised by Ceramics course in the Department of Crafts, Tokyo University of the Arts since 2016 as part of the Re-Inventing Japan Project (Turkey & Israel): Global Art Crossing (GAC) Short Crossing - Exchange Programme Teacher: Tokyo University of the Arts x Anadolu University (TURKEY). The aim of this training is to work together with TUA ceramics students. Anadolu students stay on the Toride Campus with TUA students during the training for a week, and finalise their biscuit works which brought from Turkey.

Global Art Crossing (GAC) is an international exchange programme that has been launched since 2015 as a project to enhance the ability of the globalised university. The project is composed of three different types and lengths of exchange plans: Short Crossing, Middle Crossing, and Long Crossing in partnership with Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University (TURKEY), Anadolu University (Turkey) and Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design (ISRAEL).
